Our team consists of empathetic mission-driven professionals coming together to support the quality and availability of our national telehealth alcohol treatment program. We are seeking a Provider Relations manager to join our rapidly growing team. Ria Health, the leading national telehealth provider specializing in Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) treatment, recently completed a Series B funding round led by Peloton Equity.

The investment will further the momentum of commercial partnerships that include regional and national health plans, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Group Optum, Beacon Health Options, Highmark Health, and Magellan Health.

Ria Health is a Center of Excellence that delivers a Joint Commission accredited program that leverages evidence-based pharmacotherapy, psychosocial support, and an engaging care delivery platform to help members achieve lasting improvements in their quality of life. Ria’s published outcomes data set the standard for effectiveness in alcohol treatment.

The Ria program is delivered through telehealth and by a care team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Coaches with clinical expertise to manage care and outcomes for Ria Health members.

WORK AT RIA HEALTH AS A REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The Regional Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving referral growth, increasing brand awareness, and fostering strong relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations. This position supports Ria Health’s mission by promoting its services, managing referral processes, and contributing to strategic initiatives within the West Coast territory. The ideal candidate will reside in California.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Increase Brand Awareness:
    Actively promote Ria Health as a premier treatment option for AUD within the assigned territory, ensuring enhanced visibility and recognition among local providers and potential patients.
  • Referral Growth:
    Drive increased referral volume by engaging a diverse network of providers, including residential and outpatient treatment centers, therapists, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaboration with Enrollment Team:
    Work closely with the enrollment team to efficiently triage inbound inquiries and referrals, facilitating seamless transitions for clients into Ria Health’s program.
  • Outbound Referral Management:
    Assist in managing outbound referral efforts for Higher Levels of Care (HLOC), ensuring clients are connected with appropriate resources.
  • Relationship Building:
    Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with healthcare providers, treatment facilities, and community organizations to support ongoing referrals and collaborative partnerships.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Monitor and analyze local market trends and competitor activities, providing insights to inform strategies for brand positioning and referral growth.
  • Reporting & Metrics:
    Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as referral volume, conversion rates, and outreach activities within the territory.
  • Education & Training:
    Deliver educational sessions to providers within the territory, increasing their understanding of Ria Health’s services and its effectiveness in treating AUD.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, healthcare outreach, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and referral processes.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Passion for Ria Health’s mission and commitment to helping individuals overcome AUD.
