Locum Social Worker – Adult Safeguarding Team – Swansea, earning £41.58 hourly. This temporary, full‑time position of 37 hours per week is initially for 3 months. You will be based in the Guildhall, Swansea on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the week. This is a thrilling opportunity to join the vibrant Adult Safeguarding Team which handles Adult at Risk Reports and manages Section 126 inquiries in accordance with the All‑Wales Safeguarding Procedures.

What you will do:
  • Conduct Section 126 enquiries to safeguard vulnerable adults effectively.
  • Provide advice and guidance on safeguarding issues to colleagues, citizens, and partner agencies.
  • Attend and contribute to multi‑agency safeguarding meetings, including MAPPA and MARAC.
  • Engage in suicide prevention work and advocate for preventive measures to protect the community.
  • Manage a complex safeguarding caseload with leadership and expertise.
  • Maintain a person‑centred collaborative approach to ensure the best outcomes for adults at risk.
