Baptist Care is one of Australias largest home care providers and a leader in service quality and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in the Nepean region part-time (3 day/week) on a 12 month fixed-term contract supporting Penrith Blue Mountains and surrounds. You will deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs with a focus on reablement and restorative care.

Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence mobility and confidence to remain living at home.

You will be joining an established and supportive group of health professionals who share a passion for helping older Australians live well. -Occupational Therapists

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated abilityto assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community
• Post graduate experience working with in a variety of aged care services including rehabilitation and community settings
• Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
• Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy
• Alignment with Baptist Cares values and mission
• Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
• Unrestricted drivers licence and access to a reliable registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance
