  • Trainee Phlebotomist – Field Based (Faringdon, Hatford, Radcot, Watchfield, Bampton, Stanford in the Vale)
  • Annual Salary: £27,783 per year plus commission, overtime, expenses and benefits

Responsibilities
  • Work 4 x 10‑hour shifts per week (total 40 hours) – schedule between 6 am and 10 pm, Monday to Sunday; hours are allocated 3‑weeks in advance.
  • Drive up to 2 hours to each venue (outside the 10‑hour shift); may also use public transport if required.
  • Provide high‑quality assessments at a variety of venues across the region.
  • Plan daily route, set up kit, greet customers, and handle approx. 15‑22 appointments per day, each 10‑45 minutes.
  • Perform health assessments (PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy once qualified, Lung Function, Body Composition, short fitness tests) and offer advice on further testing where appropriate.
  • Maintain all relevant administrative records.
  • No obligation to relay results or lifestyle advice post‑assessment.
Requirements
  • A full UK driver’s licence and own car (standard sized); must store kit at home when not working.
  • Availability for any shift 6 am–10 pm, Monday–Sunday, on a rota basis.
  • Computer/personal device skills sufficient for job.
  • Clear DBS (Processed by company).
  • Ability to travel up to 2 hours from home and occasional overnight stays.
  • Live within the regional location specified.
  • Available for 2‑week training at Milton Keynes head office (Monday‑Friday).
  • Willingness to learn and take on new skills.
  • Successful enhanced criminal records check (covered by company).
