Tax-Free Compensation ranges $1500-$5000/month

Compensation may vary depending on the person's level of disability and needed care.

Starpoint is actively seeking energetic and professional Host Home Contractors in the Canon City, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Fremont and Chaffee County areas to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in your home.

Contractors receive competitive stipends to provide care to individual(s) in the provider’s home. This position is responsible for 24/7 care in the provider’s home either through provider or trained respite providers. All necessary training is provided by Starpoint.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses the following characteristics/skills:

• Preferably experience as a Host Home Provider

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must have a GED or diploma

• Must have dependable and reliable transportation with the ability to safely transport

• Ability to pass multiple background checks

• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds

• Excellent social skills to interface with families and individuals with developmental disabilities

• Willing to work with individuals with challenging behavior

• Detail-oriented and task-oriented

• Reliable, dependable and motivated

• Must have appropriate living environment with at least one available bedroom

• Must have experience and knowledge working with the developmentally disabled population
