What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Analyze and conduct financial reviews to ensure charge capture accuracy and comprehensiveness
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and audit teams to validate operational procedures and data entry
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies and maintain the accuracy of clinical charges and billing codes
  • Lead multi-disciplinary groups in revenue enhancement projects, including Denial Management
  • Communicate changes to coding and billing protocols to clinical departments and provide necessary guidance
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 1 to 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills for conducting financial reviews
  • Knowledge of operational procedures and charge capture processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and teams
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, especially with Charge Master and coding
  • Familiarity with physician and hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations
  • Certifications such as CRCR (required within 9 months of hire) and Epic Certification preferred
