Hybrid/Remote BCBA Clinical Director role at Empower Behavioral Health
Full‑time position
ReportingReports to:
Area Clinical Manager
- Assist with conducting BCBA interviews and making hiring decisions in collaboration with Human Resources and RCD
- Complete and oversee new hire training for BCBAs
- Conduct ongoing clinical training with a team of BCBAs
- Complete performance evaluations for BCBAs
- Develop BCBAs’ professional, clinical, and leadership skills
- Assist with the new patient intake process including assessments, insurance paperwork, and patient‑family communication
- Maintain rapport and accessibility with patient caregivers
- Address caregiver concerns in a timely manner
- Oversee ongoing patient programming to ensure high clinical quality
- Review and provide feedback on treatment plans and authorization documentation
- Assist with peer review calls and insurance appeals
- Coordinate care for patients as needed
- Coordinate RBT ongoing clinical training in collaboration with the BCBA team
- Manage assigned caseload: 8 full‑time equivalent patients
- Must be able to travel to the clinic at least once a month for 1 week in person to support staff and all clinical needs
- 28 days of paid time off annually
- Monday‑Friday 8 AM‑4 PM schedule (no evenings or weekends)

- Master’s degree in behavior analysis or related field
- Certified BCBA with the BACB and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Texas
- Minimum of 5 years working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
- Minimum of 1 year working as a BCBA
- Knowledge of Catalyst data collection platform and Excel graphing
- Strong technical writing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience presenting to small and large groups of parents/caregivers, teachers, and other professionals
- Must live in the State of Texas
- Must be able to travel to the clinic at least once a month for 1 entire work week
- Must be able to support staff remotely and in person
