Job Description
Home Based Clinician (Worcester County) - The qualified candidate will be working with a treatment team to provide home-based family therapy. In addition to regular individual and group supervision along with ongoing training, the candidate will have the opportunity to be trained in both an evidence-based trauma model and an evidence-based substance abuse model (if appropriate) to further their knowledge in trauma and substance abuse work and improve their ability to provide effective treatment.
In order to best serve families, the clinician will collaborate with team members, such as the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Department of Mental Health (DMH), school systems, and placement providers. This home-based work utilizes a multi-disciplinary team approach to develop a strength-based therapeutic relationship between clinicians and the youth and family for the purpose of treating behavioral health needs to improve a youth’s functioning as well as the family’s ability to maintain the youth in the community.
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in a mental health field and have training in working with youth and families, including coursework and/or experience with an at-risk population. Applicants should be team oriented and energetic. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and their own transportation. Bilingual/bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply. Reimbursement for travel provided. This is a salaried position with benefits.

Compensation and Benefits

- Full-time and hourly positions available for both Master and Bachelor level candidates in Worcester, Southern Worcester County and Northern Worcester County.
