Mental Health Counselor - Youth Engagement
Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit mental health and substance use services provider is seeking a social worker and/or counseling professional to provide intensive, community/home-based, and comprehensive behavioral health treatment services to clients and their families throughout Logan
and Champaign Counties, Ohio. Youth Engagement Counselors at Coleman work collaboratively with Central Ohio Youth Center (CYOC) to provide services currently not available to youth and their families within that system. This is a Monday - Friday position with regular scheduled hours; employee must be willing to work after 5pm a few nights a week to best meet the needs of youth and families after school hours.
Will be off on all nine paid company holidays and no on-call requirements.

- Provides intensive, individual, and family psychotherapy to clients in their home/community; with an anticipated engagement of 3-6 months.
- Serve as the lead for the Youth Engagement Team and determine treatment plan needs for case management and/or youth employment services.
- Attend interdisciplinary team meetings at CYOC, staff meetings with Coleman, Mental Health Board Crisis Stakeholder meetings, and work closely with the MRSS (Mobile Response & Stabilization Services) Team.
- Master's degree in related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) licensure or higher
- Have/willing to get their NPI and Ohio Medicaid numbers (we will assist)
- Have and maintain an excellent driving record
- Experience with youth and families in community behavioral health or crisis intervention setting
- Experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care
