Front Desk Receptionist

Position Overview:

Nathan Ph.D. and Associates are seeking a warm, detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to support our clinical operations and provide an exceptional first impression to our patients and their families.

• Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
• Answer incoming calls and manage appointment scheduling
• Collect and process patient copays and outstanding balances
• Verify insurance information and assist with billing-related tasks
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR), including scanning and chart management
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
• Provide general administrative support to both front and back office teams

• Minimum of 3 years of front office experience (psychology or medical setting preferred)
• Working knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and privacy standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Work Environment: In-person position at our Houston, Texas home office
• Compensation: $15–$16/hour, based on experience
