Job SummaryWe are seeking a Psychotherapist to join our team! In this role, you manage a clinical caseload and provide individual, group, and/or family therapy services. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining timely documentation, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes. Responsibilities- Perform intakes and assessments
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence‑based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- Perform regular wellness checks
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
- Competency in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, and client‑centered approaches
- Experience working with diverse populations, including adults, youth, and families
- Knowledge of trauma‑informed care, crisis intervention, and ethical clinical practices
- Proficiency in psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and collaborative treatment planning
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Timely and accurate clinical documentation (within 24 hours of session)
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals impacted by mental health, trauma, or co‑occurring disorders
- Familiarity with evidence‑based treatment practices and culturally competent care
- Current and unrestricted clinical social worker license
- Previous experience as a behavioral health therapist preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
- LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent licensure in New York State
- Must have or obtain Professional Liability Insurance prior to start date
- Availability for two evening shifts and one weekend shift per week
- Strong working knowledge of telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHRs)
