Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Psychiatric PA‑C or PMHNP to provide psychiatric and substance‑use‑disorder treatment remotely via telemedicine to patients of our Community Health Center partners nationwide. The provider will participate in a “say‑yes” first clinical model, guiding patients toward recovery and stabilization in the care setting that best meets their needs.
Key Areas of Ownership
- Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorders across all age groups.
- Provide psychopharmacological management of all psychiatric‑diagnosed treatment conditions.
- Administer or be willing to learn medication‑assisted treatment for OUD in active withdrawal or recovery.
- Deliver supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma‑informed care using harm‑reduction and patient‑centered approaches.
- Coordinate care across psychiatric, substance‑use, and medical services.
- Provide direct support for scheduled and walk‑in patients.
- Complete validated rating‑scale documentation and treatment plans to determine level of care.
- Coordinate clinical and psychosocial resources—medical referrals, housing, peer support, and other social determinants of health.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including PCPs, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, counselors, peer‑support staff, and care coordinators.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of primary residence and Oregon.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider.
- DEA license.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged sitting.
- Manual dexterity and good hand‑eye coordination.
- Adequate vision for reading screens and documents.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings.
- Reliable internet connectivity in a quiet workspace.
- Possible occasional in‑person attendance as needed.
