About the Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Lab Account Manager to support long‑term care facilities and medical offices across the Northeast. You’ll be the go‑to expert for onboarding new facilities, training staff on lab ordering, educating teams on testing benefits, and ensuring specimens and supplies move efficiently. This role combines account management, training, and operational oversight—and involves significant regional travel (approx. 90%).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the onboarding of new LTC facilities, and medical offices, including site visits, EMR lab ordering training, and education on available lab testing and its benefits.
  • Monitor lab orders in the LIS, maintain data accuracy, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for facility administrators, Directors of Nursing, clinical staff, LTC stakeholders and medical office staff.
  • Conduct regular visits to review inventory, answer questions, reinforce best practices, and train staff.
  • Manage supplies at centralized locations in the Northeast, including inventory counts, replenishment requests, and distribution to facilities.
  • Deliver ongoing training to ensure consistent, compliant lab practices.
  • Partner with internal teams across logistics, IT, billing, and lab operations to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of account management experience in healthcare, lab services, or long‑term care.
  • Lab experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, LIS platforms, and data management best practices.
  • Strong communication, training, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently within the region.
Why You’ll Love This Role

This position offers the chance to directly impact patient care in LTC facilities and medical offices while working in a dynamic, fast‑growing lab environment. You’ll have the responsibility, and the opportunity to shape workflows and processes that support multiple facilities across the Northeast.
