- Transcribe, edit, and interpret dictation by physicians and clinicians to ensure timely release of medical information to the EMR
- Assist managers and directors in mentoring and training new team members
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of medical terminology, medications, anatomy, and physiology for accurate documentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals
- Minimum educational requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent - Required 1 year of experience in Medical Transcription/Editing
- Preferred certification: CHDS (Certified Healthcare Documentation Specialist)
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, medications, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to work full-time with varying hours, including occasional weekends
- Associate's degree in a related field
- Experience in pathology documentation
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
