Position: Research Assistant, Psychiatry (per diem)

Responsibilities
  • Recruit individuals to participate in research studies and conduct enrollment, explaining procedures and obtaining informed consent
  • Schedule appointments for study participants and administer questionnaires while assisting them in navigating through the process
  • Review data collection forms for accuracy and oversee data entry performed by junior staff
  • Conduct various data management procedures, including data entry, report generation, and database maintenance
  • Assist in manuscript and grant preparation, including conducting literature searches and synthesizing information
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required by time of hire
  • 1-2 years of research or relevant clinical research experience preferred
  • Ability to read and write fluently in English;
    Spanish language skills preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with statistical software (SPSS) a plus
  • Must successfully complete training in human subjects research certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Psychology preferred
  • Experience in Psychological Research or Mental Health clinical studies preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and build trust
