Paramedic - Hospital at Home - ( 250004BK ) Description
The Paramedic provides technical assistance and performs selected acts, including the administration of treatments, under the supervision of the Hospital at Home Physician and/or Registered Nurse. The Paramedic is accountable for his/her own actions. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Essential Functions- Ensure patient and personal safety throughout care procedures.
- Conducts patient re‑assessments as necessary.
- Establishes IV access and administers normal saline.
- Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
- Current EMT‑P certification.
- At least two (2) years' experience as a Paramedic.
- ACLS certification.
