Speech Therapist

Location: Prakāshamnagar

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in children with special needs.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and train parents/caregivers to support interventions  Responsibilities
Assessment & Diagnosis
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.
Diagnose speech, language, articulation, fluency, and voice disorders.
Support children with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) methods when required.
Provide auditory training and therapy for children with hearing impairments.
Therapy Planning & Intervention
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each child's needs.
Use evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, expressive language, and social communication skills.
Conduct group and individual therapy sessions according to therapy plans.
Monitor and document therapy progress and adjust plans as needed.
Parent/Caregiver Support
Educate and train parents/caregivers on home-based speech and communication activities.
Collaboration & Documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated child development plans.
Maintain accurate therapy records and reports.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP/MASLP) from a recognized institution.
Mandatory:
Valid RCI Registration as Speech Language Pathologist.
Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric speech-language therapy (freshers with strong skills may also be considered).

Experience with children having developmental disabilities and hearing impairment is desirable.
Strong clinical knowledge of speech and language development milestones.
Proficiency in therapy planning and execution for children of varied abilities.
Empathy, patience, and child-friendly approach.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
