Mental Health Therapist - Remote | WFH job at Get It - Healthcare. Westland, MI.
Are you a compassionate and skilled therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in people's lives? We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our growing practice, providing high-quality mental health services through teletherapy and/or in‑person sessions in the Livonia, MI area.
About the RoleWe are looking for licensed therapists who specialize in various clinical areas, including but not limited to:
- Individual & Family Therapy:
Marriage and family therapy, adolescent and child therapy, end‑of‑life counseling, geriatrics - Trauma & Specialized Care:
Trauma‑informed therapy, substance use treatment, grief counseling, LGBTQ+ affirming therapy (including adolescent LGBTQ+ support) - Evidence‑Based Modalities:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Strength‑Based Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Solution‑Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Behavioral Therapy, Integrative/Holistic Therapy, and more
- Provide therapy services to individuals, couples, and families via telehealth or in person
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and create individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care
- Support clients in accessing community resources and additional mental health services
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold ethical and professional standards
- If applicable, supervise and provide guidance to limited license social workers (LLMSWs), ensuring quality care and professional development
- Must be licensed to practice in Michigan (LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LP, or equivalent)
- Master's or Doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Experience in medical social work or clinical settings (preferred but not required)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for providing compassionate, client‑centered care
