What You’ll DoAs a BCBA at CVTC, you’ll play a key role in shaping high-quality behavioral services by:
- Conducting behavioral assessments, functional assessments, and functional analyses
- Designing, implementing, and supervising individualized behavior support plans
- Training and mentoring staff on ethical, evidence-based ABA practices
- Monitoring and adjusting behavior plans to support participant success
- Writing clinical recommendations and fade-out plans
- Collaborating with Regional Centers, School Districts, and funding partners
- Working independently while collaborating with Directors and Operations leadership
Required:
- Current BCBA certification (verified through the BACB)
- Master’s degree in psychology, education, or a related human services field
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities or in an adult day program setting
- Ability to travel within California (up to 75%)
- Strong in ABA principles and ethical practice
- A clear communicator and confident decision-maker
- Comfortable mentoring and training staff
- Organized, analytical, and solution-focused
- Passionate about inclusion, dignity, and person-centered services
