Care Plus Health Plans (Care Plus is a subsidiary of Humana)

Join as a Provider Contracting Professional 2 initiating, negotiating, and executing physician, hospital, and other provider contracts to support our Medicare Advantage plans in Florida.

Base salary: $65,000 – $88,600 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience)

Bonus incentive plan available.

• Actively communicate contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to internal and external constituents.
• Negotiate and maintain contracts with hospital partners to meet regulatory and business requirements.
• Manage relationships with key providers to support member access, minimize disruption, and maintain competitive advantage.
• Ensure contract terms are implemented accurately, protecting the organization from financial and legal risk.
• Provide timely updates to cross‑functional teams on contracting status, rate changes, and network developments.
• Work with internal and external constituents on contracting, network management, adequacy, provider education, conflict resolution, claim escalation, compliance, and joint operating committees.

• Minimum 2 years negotiating managed‑care contracts with physician specialty, hospital, or other provider contracts.
• Proficiency analyzing and communicating the financial impact of contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates.
• Experience with public speaking and presentation skills.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with ACO/Risk Contracting and Value‑Based Contracting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Travel to provider‑facing meetings as needed.
• Office hours: 8 am – 5 pm EST.
• Weekly hours: 40.
• Remote position with occasional travel for training or meetings.
