Forward Thinking Assessment is seeking a licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist to join a thriving fee-for-service practice in Ellicott City, MD. The team focuses on conducting comprehensive assessments for students in a variety of educational settings. Each client receives dedicated attention, ensuring high-quality services and detailed reports that are useful for clients, families, schools, and other professionals. This opportunity is for a full-time W2 employee position with compensation based on a percentage model. Professional liability insurance is provided, and funds are available to support continuing education and professional memberships. Employees also have access to a retirement plan with an employer match. The role offers flexible scheduling and options for partial remote work, though all assessment is conducted in person.
The office suite has been recently renovated, providing each psychologist with a dedicated office. All assessment materials and office supplies are supplied by the practice, along with administrative support for scheduling and an EHR system.
Candidates should hold a doctoral degree and be licensed as a psychologist in Maryland. The ideal applicant for this position will bring assessment experience with children and adolescents, strong written and verbal communication skills, enthusiasm for collaboration with co-workers and other providers, and good capacity for time management. A strong candidate would be knowledgeable about assessment of dyslexia and other learning disorders, ADHD, ASD, and executive functioning challenges.
