Position Responsibilities:- Provides direct patient care and manages ownremotecaseloadfor feeding clients.
- Completes daily treatment notes, to support initial and annual evaluations, supports plan of care documents, and other documentation as needed within the requiredtime frame.
- Creates innovative treatments to support the childand family’s feeding and mealtime goals.
- Demonstrates competency in the use,careand maintenance ofprofessionspecific equipment,observingsafety precautions and providing verbal explanations of the equipment and its purpose, if needed.
- Participates inon-goingcollaboration with the client's team and family including emails, phonecallsand face-to-face discussions, as needed.
- Establishes andmaintainsrelationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed.
- Createshome programs to help support therapy goals.
- Participates in supervision meetings to support clinical development.
- In-depth knowledge of feeding/swallowing therapy principles, methods, and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate withtherapycolleagueson treatment ideas, duration, and effectiveness.
- Participates in all required company orientation, professional development and ongoingtrainingsasrequired.
- Activelyparticipatesin staff meetings and team meetings, as needed.
- Follows all company policies and procedures.
- Master's/Doctoratedegree in Speech-Language Pathologyor Occupational Therapywith a valid and current license in Florida.
- Criminal record clearance, or formal exemption
- Experience working with children or clients with special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental delays
- Weekly supervision to support caseload as interested/ needed
- Part-time, W-2 position with flexibility in schedule
