Community Relations Coordinator

• Collaborate with the Marketing & Community Relations Manager to develop and implement community outreach plans
• Support the attainment of member growth goals through outreach strategies
• Identify and build relationships with community contacts and organizations for outreach engagements
• Organize and coordinate outreach activities and materials for community and health events
• Attend events to distribute Health Plan information and support health education presentations

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of community outreach experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• 2+ years of community outreach experience preferred
• Experience working with government-sponsored populations, particularly Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the state
• Public speaking experience

• Community Health Worker Certification
• Bi‑lingual in Spanish
• Experience working with low‑income and/or multi‑cultural and multilingual populations
