Position: Locums Privileging Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Manage timely and accurate privileging of physicians and CRNAs within the employer's Locums program
  • Coordinate with onboarding specialists and hospital locations to ensure new hires start on time
  • Complete reappointments and maintain accurate data entry into the database
  • Run weekly status reports on pending privileges and provide updates to upper management
  • Serve as a resource to internal departments, providers, and outside agencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or Medical Staff Office setting
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare credentialing or a related environment
  • Strong knowledge of the privileging process and ability to make decisions with limited supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and experience with databases
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • College degree preferred
  • Proven ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
  • Aptitude for creating a positive and productive work environment
  • Experience in escalating issues appropriately within the process
  • Strong follow‑up skills and ability to communicate transparently with staff and management
