Pedia Staff is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person early childhood speech and language services for children aged 3-5 in the vibrant southwest Portland area. Your Role

As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing individualized education and treatment programs for students facing communication challenges. This is your chance to work closely with young learners in a nurturing environment and make a lasting impact on their development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize specialized materials and equipment for the speech and language program.
  • Provide targeted communication interventions for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders.
  • Assess speech and language skills and collaborate with teachers to develop IEP goals.
  • Train and support team members in effective communication strategies.
  • Regularly communicate student progress with school staff and parents.
Job Details
  • Location: Primarily southwest Portland
  • Dates: Mid-December to mid-June
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Setting: Homes and preschools (in-person only)
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Oregon state SLP license
