Pedia Staff is excited to invite you to apply for an in-person position providing early childhood speech and language services to children aged 3–5 in the beautiful southwest Portland area for the 2025–2026 school year .

Your Role

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students.
  • Assess and address communication disorders in a supportive preschool setting.
  • Consult with teachers and families to create effective IEP goals.
Job Details
  • Location: Primarily southwest Portland
  • Dates: Mid-December to mid-June
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Setting: Homes and community preschools
  • In-person only
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize specialized materials essential to the speech and language program.
  • Provide communication interventions for students with language, speech, or hearing disorders.
  • Assess speech and language skills and collaborate with teachers on IEP goals.
  • Train and support team members in effective communication strategies.
  • Regularly communicate assessment results and progress with staff and families.
