Work from Home Medical Insurance Collections Specialist. Must live within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital located in FL, GA, , KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA.

The Healthcare Insurance Collector is responsible for performing account follow‑up and resolution of insurance and patient receivables.

• Work insurance pools and contact insurance companies to resolve unpaid claims.
• Review EOBs, remits and payer correspondence, perform account follow‑up, and elevate issues to the appropriate area for resolution.
• Identify problem accounts and appropriately elevate.
• Maintain compliance with pool completion requirements.
• Maintain required productivity and QA standards.
• Document actions taken in the patient account record.
• Work with patients and guarantors to resolve payer requests & discrepancies, promptly settling pending claims.

• Minimum 1‑year related experience (preferably in healthcare); relevant education may substitute experience.
• Previous experience with Insurance Follow‑Up is preferred.
• Work‑from‑home position that requires high‑speed internet (25 MB download, 15 MB upload). Wi‑Fi is not permitted.
• Ability to work uninterrupted for the shift (excluding breaks/lunch).
