Colorectal Surgery Coder

Description

• Perform direct surgical coding for colorectal, general surgery, and gastroenterology cases with a high level of accuracy.
• Utilize PMD to review documentation, pull autonotes, and complete coding assignments efficiently.
• Apply CPT, ICD
  10, and PATH guidelines to ensure correct code selection while following the instruction to "do not level."
• Review surgeon documentation and operative reports to validate coding requirements and resolve missing or unclear details.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
