• Code, abstract, and analyze medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with the assembly, tracking, and completion of incomplete medical records.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, vendors, and customers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Health Informatics.

• Associate's degree in health information field or related healthcare program, or a High School Diploma with 5 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care medical record coding experience in ICD-10-CM and CPT.
• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification or other credentials in a health-related field.
• Strong skills in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy/physiology.
• Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

• 5 years of acute care medical record coding experience.
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification.
