• Review inpatient medical records to validate ICD-10 code assignments and ensure compliance with coding standards
• Author detailed audit findings and produce comprehensive reports supported by authoritative coding references
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Auditors or Physician Advisors for complex clinical reviews
• Provide strategic input to improve claim selection criteria and audit effectiveness
• Maintain data integrity and resolve discrepancies in client data to meet corporate and regulatory standards

• Active AHIMA Credentials: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS required
• Minimum of 5 years of inpatient coding experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and reimbursement methodologies
• Strong written communication skills with a focus on grammar and clarity
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Previous experience mentoring or training junior coders
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site reviews or specialized training
