• Provide clinical triage by demonstrating knowledge of patient care appropriate to age
• Respond to patient telephone requests under the direction of a physician, documenting all pertinent information in the EMR
• Review and update patient data, including lab results and medical history during phone encounters
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals in collaboration with physicians
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and dietary recommendations while adhering to HIPAA guidelines

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or an accredited nursing program
• Current certification/license from recognized medical assistant organizations or an active RN/LPN license in the state of employment
• Ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant environment
• High-speed internet service for remote work setup
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required

• Previous experience in a clinical setting or as a Medical Assistant
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Additional certifications related to medical assistance or nursing
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
• Licensure in multiple states (Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois) for nursing professionals
