The Medical Instrument Technician (MIT) Electrocardiograph (EKG) monitors the cardiac rhythm and rate of both medical and cardiac patients from a remote location using sophisticated diagnostic cardiac electrocardiography equipment.
Duties- Monitors the health status of each telemetry patient, receive and interpret requests for diagnostic procedures.
- The MIT records, interprets, and documents the electrical activity and status of each patient and alerts the RN staff for any abnormalities or aberrancies.
