Join our mission-driven team as an MST Therapist at our CSI El Dorado Office in El Dorado, KS
. You'll play a key role providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to youth, their families, communities, and other key members. The MST Practitioner will provide intensive, home-based therapy to adolescents and their families who are involved in the juvenile justice system or at risk of out-of-home placement. MST Practitioners can be required to drive within a 90-minute radius from the CSI El Dorado Office.

This role is community-based and requires travel to the following surrounding counties:
Butler, Chase, Chautauqua, Coffey, Cowley, Elk, Greenwood, Lyon, Marion
.

Multisystemic Therapy (MST) typically targets chronic, violent, or substance-abusing juvenile offender ages 12 through 17. MST's home-based therapy design helps overcome barriers to service, increases family retention in treatment, allows for the provision of the intensive services (i.e., therapists have a maximum of 6 cases), and enhances the maintenance of successful behavior change.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify presenting problems, strengths, and systemic factors contributing to difficulties.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Multisystemic Therapy, incorporating relevant evidence-based interventions and strategies.
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions to at-risk youth and their families, and collaborate with other key members.
• Implement crisis management strategies as needed to address immediate safety concerns for clients and their families.
• Participate in individual and group supervision training to enhance clinical skills and ensure fidelity to the MST model.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, including session notes, treatment plans, and outcome measures.
• Collaborate with other professionals and service providers involved in the client's ecosystem, including social services, schools, court, mental health agencies, etc.

Annual Salary: $50,

• Bachelors degree required in Social Services or related field, Masters degree preferred.
• Three years of work experience in social work or clinical treatment.
• Social Work or other clinical license is preferred.
• Must possess a Valid driver license and have reliable transportation to travel to client's homes and possibly transport multiple clients at once.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Must live within 30-45 minutes travel time from the designated service area.
• Preferred Experience
  • Professional licensure in social work or other clinical field preferred but not required.
  • Direct use of pragmatic (i.e., structural, strategic, and functional) family therapies.
  • Therapy with children and adults using cognitive-behavioral techniques.
  • Couples therapy using behaviorally-based approaches.
  • Implementation of interventions within or between systems in the youth's natural ecology (i.e., family, peer, school, and neighborhood).
  • Collaboration and partnership with community agencies.
  • Previous work providing in-home or community-based therapy services.

• Two (2) weeks vacation accrued within the first year, bumped to three (3) weeks accrual after 1 year of service.
• Sick time (7 days accrual basis), floating holiday time (4 days/year).
