We are hiring immediately for full-time HOUSEKEEPER positions.

Location: UM Charles Regional Medical Center - 701 East Charles Street, La Plata, MD 20646

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, hours may vary. Must be able to work every other weekend/holiday. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Housekeeping, hospitality, and customer service experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests promptly.
• Addresses housekeeping issues like spills and broken items.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
