The Care Coaching Assistant 2 evaluates member's needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitating interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. The Care Coaching Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments, including computations. They typically work on semi-routine assignments.

The Care Coaching Assistant 2 employs a variety of strategies, approaches, and techniques to support a member's optimal wellness state by coordinating services and resources. Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. They work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but have some latitude over prioritization and timing, and work under minimal direction.

They follow standard policies and practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

• Less than 3 years of technical experience
• Associates working in the State of Florida will need ACHA Level II Background clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• This role is considered patient-facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
• This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits.

• Clerical support background in a healthcare environment
• Associate or Bachelors degree

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria:

• At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
• Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
• Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
• Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
