A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.

About the Clinician's WorkdayThis opportunity is at a Level II trauma center with a daily team of four physicians and eighteen CRNAs. The practice follows a medical direction model with a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio, and CRNAs work with a high level of autonomy while maintaining a strong, collaborative relationship with the physicians. Case types include regional, trauma, and general bread and butter cases, with no transplants, OB, or pediatric cases.
Call is pager-based for both MDs and CRNAs, with two layers of pager call and no post-call day off; however, call-backs are rare, and providers are typically home once finished for the night. Available shift options include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, and the facility uses Cerner for EMR. Credentialing takes approximately 90 days.
