Functional Assessor

NMC and HCPC professionals eligible to apply. The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 to 6 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. Youll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.

That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't.

An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 years or more broad post-registration experience Someone whos proactive and keen to learn Excellent oral and written communication skills Competent IT and computer skills Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health Please click apply if you are open to hearing more!
