Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides help and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty.
ResponsibilitiesWork as part of a multidisciplinary team in the East Caithness Health and Social Care Team based at Pulteney House, Wick, providing holistic care to patients in their own homes. The primary responsibility is to assist with enabling people to maintain their independence at home and supporting people after they have left hospital. The post holder must be flexible, use initiative, and provide high standards of patient care to ensure delivery of a high quality service to the local community.
Qualifications& Details
Experience not required, although desirable. Full training will be provided, and the applicant will have the opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care. A driving licence is essential for this post and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
There are two permanent posts available, each of 17.27 hours, working 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm, 4 days on, 4 days off or in line with service requirements.
