Position: Behavioral Health Advocate (Call Center) - Evernorth Behavioral Health - Remote

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Handle back‑to‑back phone calls from members and providers, lasting approximately 8‑10 minutes each
  • Triage and conduct intake for risk of harm and substance use concerns
  • Communicate eligibility, assist with scheduling appointments, and provide referrals
  • Utilize multiple systems and applications simultaneously to deliver accurate information and exceptional service
  • Collaborate with clinical teams for seamless handoffs and timely support
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in another field plus 2+ years of behavioral health experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with typing and PC usage
  • Must remain at the workstation while handling calls from a phone queue

  • Experience in a behavioral health setting
  • Familiarity with mental health and substance use disorder services
  • Strong problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple software programs efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills
