Main Grade Educational Psychologist

Part-time | Permanent | Local Authority Based

Strategic Influence & Protected Project Time
  • North Tyneside EPS plays a prominent role in shaping local authority initiatives. Our psychologists are commissioned to lead or contribute to projects and multi-disciplinary teams including:
  • Connect Mental Health team
  • HIVE team (multis agency support for children in care, care leavers, previously looked after children who are adopted or under a Special Guardianship Order or those with a social worker)
  • Early Years Partnership
  • ARP Development & Training – advancing Additional Resource Provisions

We maintain an active partnership with Newcastle University, offering supported placements for Year 1, 2 and 3 trainee educational psychologists, fostering a culture of learning and growth. Many of our former TEPs have chosen to remain at North Tyneside when qualified.
