  • Salary: £36,363 to £40,777 + £3,000 welcome payment (please see guidance)

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Registered Social Worker with Social Work England and holds a qualifying degree.
  • Deep understanding of current legislation and its real-world impact.
  • Drive to potentially pursue qualifications in Practice Education, Best Interest Assessor, and/or Approved Mental Health Professional.
  • Collaborates effectively with external agencies to build strong partnerships.
  • Holds a full, clean driving license and is ready to explore opportunities in the county.
  • Social Work England registration and relevant qualification.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and guidance.
  • Track record of effective, person-centred assessment and care management.
  • Interest in developing into a Best Interest Assessor or Approved Mental Health Professional.
What Will You Be Doing?
  • Conduct Care Act Assessments and person-centered support planning, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Section 42 Enquiries.
  • Apply experience with diverse adult populations, including those with physical and learning disabilities, mental health needs, and older adults.
  • Use a strength-based approach to empower individuals and promote independence.
  • Engage in CHC and s117 work to ensure seamless support.
  • Thrive in a supportive culture with regular supervision and opportunities for professional growth.
You Will
  • Transform lives with comprehensive Care Act Assessments and bespoke support plans.
  • Navigate complex situations with expertise in Section 42 Enquiries and Mental Capacity Assessments.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure holistic care.
  • Engage in regular supervision and funded opportunities to specialise in your area of interest.
