Role:
Functional Assessor (PIP / WCA) Suitable for:
✔ Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
✔ Occupational Therapists

✔ Physiotherapists
✔ Pharmacists

Shifts:

Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

Location:

Hybrid (home & office)

Contract:

Full-time

Salary & Benefits  
£37,500 – £42,000 starting salary (role-dependent)
£1,000 pay rises at 6 and 12 months
Up to 10% bonus based on quality & performance

Assess claimants’ health conditions via telephone or face-to-face
Review medical evidence & daily living information
Complete clear, detailed reports for the DWP
Conduct 3 PIP assessments or 5–6 WCA assessments per day (depending on pathway)  Training Provided All successful applicants receive a 12-week fully paid training programme, including:
 
Assessment & interview techniques
DWP policy & clinical guidelines
Expert report-writing training
Ongoing mentorship & clinical support  No prior assessor experience needed.

✔ Who We’re Looking For  
1 year post-registration experience in adult practice
Active NMC or HCPC registration
Confident communicators & strong report writers
Comfortable using IT and clinical systems  ❗ Sponsorship cannot be offered for this role
