The Richmond Mental Health Social Care Team is recruiting a full‑time Social Worker based at the Civic Centre, Twickenham (TW1 3BZ
).

This role offers a hybrid pattern of home working alongside office days for duty and mandatory team activities. The Civic Centre is just a 20‑minute train journey from Clapham Junction.

The service supports adults aged 18-75 with severe and enduring mental health needs, delivering social care provision separate from the clinical community mental health team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years post‑qualifying experience, be confident managing a complex caseload, and be able to work collaboratively within a supportive, multi‑disciplinary environment.

You must have experience of:

Complex Care Act assessments and reviews
Mental Capacity Act assessments
Carers Assessments
Safeguarding / Section 42 enquiries
Preparing Mental Health Tribunal Social Circumstance Reports
Consistent strengths‑based practice
Participating in duty on a rota basis

You Will Bring:

Confidence handling complex cases and managing risk

Pay rate: £32 per hour
