Medical Biller - Remote

This role is essential for ensuring accurate billing practices, maintaining a smooth claim flow, and providing excellent client support. The ideal candidate will have significant medical billing experience, possess great attention to detail, and excel in handling volume-driven tasks while ensuring compliance.

• Generate, send, and follow up on client invoices accurately and on schedule
• Perform claim validation including demographics, CPT codes, modifiers, and authorizations
• Submit primary and secondary insurance claims
• Conduct claim follow-ups and resolve billing discrepancies
• Respond to billing inquiries via email and phone
• Assist with advanced billing functions based on experience level
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation

• Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience (or 5 years for advanced roles)
• Strong understanding of CPT codes, NCCI edits, and payer rules
• Experience in speech and occupational therapy billing is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Reliable, organized, and able to work in a process-driven environment
