Overview

Nurse Manager role at Medigold Health

Location:

Home based with travel as required.

Contract:

Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday. Salary:
Up to £48,000 per annum. This role leads a team of Occupational Health Advisors, Nurses, and Technicians to ensure high-quality clinical services across the UK. You will drive clinical excellence, support professional development, ensure compliance, and promote client satisfaction.

Base pay range

Salary:
Up to £48,000 per annum

Main Objectives
  • Practice within the scope of the NMC professional practice and Code of Conduct and work according to qualification, experience, and competency.
  • Manage day-to-day personnel of the OH team (Occupational Health Advisors, Nurses, and Technicians).
  • Support recruitment activity for all nursing teams and oversee onboarding of new team members.
  • Deliver Occupational Health services to Medigold clients to the highest standards.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Occupational Health services and promote Medigold Health offerings.
  • Ensure clinical standards, adherence to company policies, and utilisation of IT systems in duties.
  • Lead clinical audits, manage complaints, and support the Associate Director of Nursing in service development.
  • Conduct virtual team meetings, support revalidation processes, and participate in client implementation meetings to drive service improvements.
  • Drive best practices across the business and develop long-term client partnerships.
  • Step into a strategic, people-focused leadership role shaping the future of Occupational Health and employee wellbeing nationwide.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Work autonomously and within the Medigold Health multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality service for clients and employees, including clinical administration.
  • Maintain skills and competencies for core Occupational Health activities.
  • Ensure CPD and training for NMC revalidation; maintain supporting evidence.
  • Familiarise with client contracts and Aide Memoirs.
  • Maintain medical records in line with data protection and GDPR requirements, preserving confidentiality.
  • Liaise with other service teams on client and patient queries.
  • Maintain supervisory records for all team members.
  • Carry out interviews, inductions, training, and appraisals to support professional development.
  • Attend tender, client review, and implementation meetings as required.
  • Maintain competency matrices and support revalidation and ongoing clinical competence.
  • Assist the Associate Director of Nursing with clinical OHA training planning.
  • Attend and participate in meetings as requested and conduct regular clinical audits.
  • Identify and implement improvements to services from a clinical perspective and explore expansion of Occupational Health offerings.
Requirements for This Role
  • Trained to undertake all core Occupational Health clinical skills.
  • Experience in case management and complex referrals.
  • Occupational Health degree/Diploma and NMC registration is essential.
  • Previous managerial and people management experience desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience in Occupational Health, preferably in the private sector.
  • Experience participating in tender support meetings and client presentations is beneficial.
