Are you an experienced ADHD assessor looking for a role where your clinical expertise is genuinely valued and where you can help shape something new?

We are building a multidisciplinary clinical team that is ambitious, collaborative, and neuro-affirming. If you are HCPC, NMC, or Social Work England registered and ready for your next adventure, we would love to hear from you.

This is a rare opportunity to join a specialist service at a pivotal moment not to slot into an established system, but to be part of building one. You will have real clinical autonomy, a supportive leadership structure, and the chance to contribute to a service that is genuinely committed to getting ADHD care right.

Main duties of the job

At the heart of this role is a commitment to patient-centred care. You will conduct holistic, evidence-based ADHD assessments in line with NICE guidelines, working with patients aged 7-65 across our NHS Right to Choose and private caseloads.

This means more than gathering history and administering rating scales. You will apply clinical reasoning to understand the whole person considering differential diagnoses and co-occurring conditions, integrating information from multiple sources, and forming considered, nuanced formulations that go beyond a simple yes or no.

Day to day, you will conduct clinical interviews, interpret psychometric and diagnostic data, liaise with families or other professionals where appropriate, and produce clear, high-quality reports within agreed time frames. You will contribute to MDT discussions, peer consultation, and clinical governance.

We have invested in systems and administrative support to handle the operational side of clinical work scheduling, correspondence, and record management so that your time and energy can remain where it matters most: with your patients.

You will also assist in supporting developing and junior staff and providing supervision.

Our team is multidisciplinary and growing, bringing together psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and Clinical Associates in Psychology. We work collaboratively, take supervision and professional development seriously, and believe that looking after our staff is inseparable from delivering excellent patient care.

We are a digital-first service, which means genuine flexibility in how you work. We understand that our clinicians are professionals who do not need to be micromanaged we offer autonomy alongside appropriate support and governance structures.
