  • Level B - $113,841 to $134,965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Level C - $139,182 to $160,30 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Bathurst or Port Macquarie (remote arrangements negotiable)

We are seeking inspirational educators and paramedic professionals to join our growing Paramedicine discipline, with a preference to be based at either our beautiful Port Macquarie or Bathurst campus (remote working arrangements may be considered for the right candidate). With strong undergraduate enrolments, expanding postgraduate offerings, and a national reputation for high-quality rural health education, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of paramedics.

You will contribute substantially to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate Paramedicine programs, using a range of blended delivery methods. You will also contribute to subject development, student support, collaborative curriculum improvement, and developing your research profile in line with School priorities.

As a Senior Lecturer, you will provide academic leadership across teaching, learning and research, contributing significantly to undergraduate programs and leading teaching into postgraduate coursework, including Master-level paramedicine programs.
As this role will be working with the postgraduate team, relevant Master level qualifications and recent ICP/ECP/CCP clinical experience is essential.

A Working With Children Check (WWCC) and current registration as a paramedic with the Paramedicine Board of Australia are essential requirements for this role.

About you
  • A Masters qualification relevant to paramedicine (or equivalent) including clinical experience as an ICP/ECP/CCP (or similar).
  • Current registration as a paramedic with the Paramedicine Board of Australia.
  • For Level C appointment, a PhD with significant research experience and a strong track record of scholarly output at a national level is essential.
  • Evidence of and a demonstrated commitment to the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of paramedicine gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar.
