Job Summary
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at North Tyneside Talking Therapies as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP).

The service currently operates Monday‑Friday, including one evening shift per week (until 19:30). Please note we reserve the right to close this vacancy prior to the closing date once the required number of suitable applications have been received.
Job Responsibilities- Provide high‑volume, low‑intensity psychological interventions as a qualified PWP.
- Deliver a range of low‑intensity CBT‑based self‑management interventions to support a caseload of clients with mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety and depression.
- Deliver evidence‑based psychological interventions in line with the Talking Therapies manual and NICE guidelines to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Commit to continual professional development as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner.
- Role‑model compassionate and inclusive leadership practices within the service and trust, demonstrating psychological safety and collaboration across teams and organisational boundaries.

Person Specification Qualifications – Essential- Qualification from Low Intensity PWP Training Course (Post Graduate Certificate in mental health) or equivalent PWP apprenticeship qualification.
- Professional registration with BABCP/BPS – expected to complete within 6 months of appointment.
- IAPT Low Intensity Supervision Qualification.
- Experience of working in the local community.
- Evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem.
- Experience of working in Primary Care Services.
- Experience of peer‑supervising PWP’s.
