- Title: Vocational Rehab Specialist (Remote)
- Engagement: Hourly contract (independent contractor)
- Rate: USD 50-100/hour
We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Counselor to provide subject matter expertise in support of advanced AI model development. In this remote consulting role, you will apply your clinical knowledge to ensure AI systems accurately reflect real-world rehabilitation counseling practices, ethical standards, and culturally competent care approaches.

Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate rehabilitation counseling scenarios to ensure clinical accuracy and relevance for AI training
- Develop and refine written materials that reflect assessment methods, intervention strategies, case management practices, and vocational planning
- Provide structured feedback to AI development teams to improve model understanding of counseling frameworks
- Analyze complex case examples while ensuring ethical, cultural, and legal considerations are appropriately represented
- Validate that all AI training content aligns with current regulations, professional standards, and evidence-based practices
- Offer insights into disability accommodation, individualized support planning, return-to-work strategies, and community integration
- Identify gaps in AI outputs and recommend improvements grounded in professional counseling experience
Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Rehabilitation Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Active certification or licensure (CRC, LPC, or equivalent)
- Significant professional experience in rehabilitation counseling across clinical, vocational, or community-based settings
- Strong understanding of ethical guidelines, disability law, and rehabilitation best practices
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to provide structured, high-quality analytical feedback
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote, technology-enabled environment
- Experience developing training materials, curriculum content, or professional education resources
- Previous involvement in AI training, data annotation, or technology-driven behavioral health initiatives
- Multilingual abilities or experience working with diverse populations and complex cases
