Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Locum Remote Adult Triage Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. This remote role will be primarily focused on managing an adult acquired caseload, with a particular emphasis on dysphagia. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting triage clinics and efficiently managing new referrals.

Responsibilities:

• Perform triage clinics remotely, contacting new referrals to assess their needs.
• Prioritise cases based on urgency, decide appropriateness of referrals, and provide signposting to appropriate services.
• Manage a caseload predominantly consisting of adult clients with dysphagia and other acquired communication disorders.
• Use effective communication skills to liaise with clients and other healthcare professionals for timely and accurate triage decisions.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgement in evaluating referrals and providing appropriate recommendations or interventions.

Key Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Experience working with adult acquired cases, particularly in dysphagia.
• Strong triage and assessment skills.
• Proficiency in remote working and communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
